Patrons may request materials not available at EGPL from other participating libraries. Please ask any librarian and we can help you.
Digital Collection
Libby & Overdrive
OverDrive is the website you will access from a pc and Libby is the app you'll download for your phone or tablet. They both access the same materials within OverDrive. Click on the OverDrive link on this page and it will bring you to the webpage. If you are on your phone or tablet, it will also prompt you to install the Libby app.
OverDrive: Select "Find a Library" and choose "East Granby Public Library" and then visit the library website. This will bring you to our overdrive page. Sign in to see the full collection. Here you will need to select "East Granby Public Library" again and then enter your library card number. This will allow you to see the materials we share with other libraries along with the materials we purchase specifically for use by our patrons. If you are using OverDrive on a pc, you should find that it is user friendly in letting you know which materials are available immediately or which materials you can place a hold on.
Libby: Select "East Granby Public Library" and enter your library card number. On the Libby app under preferences, you can change the availability preference to show Everything or Available Now to help you see what is available.
